Awáa (uh-wa) means "mother" in my Haida language of Xaad Kil. There is no Haida word for Auntie, we use the word "mother". In our culture, the aunties took part in raising their nieces and were very important in the children's lives. So, as I am a mother and aunt, the Awáa Collective speaks to who I am in our culture and reflects the art of all of our ancestral aunties and their artistic ability of basket weaving and regalia making. 

I offer a range of jewelry at various price points, depending on the materials used and the complexity of the design. Prices start at $45 and can go up to $200 for more intricate pieces.

Not at this time. I teach full time, and have a very active family life. I however, will announce if there are any opportunities to see my jewelry in person. 

If you are truly dissatisfied with your purchase or there was a mistake on my end, please contact me and we can discuss the best option. 

My policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately I can’t offer you a refund or exchange. I do not do returns or exchanges based on wrong size or buyer's remorse. Please know your size and your budget before ordering my jewelry.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, I require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Ready to ship orders typically ship within 3 business days. Made to Order orders are shipped within 2-3 weeks. All orders are shipped USPS mail, which takes 3-5 business days to arrive within the U.S. and 1-8 weeks international depending on the destination. If you are concerned with an item arriving for a particular date, please email me and we can make sure you receive it when you need it. When your order ships, you will receive tracking information via email. 

I am not liable for items lost in the mail but I do put insurance on everything and will do my best to get you a refund or remake what has been lost if the shipping claim is approved.

>>Once you receive your earrings, they may have kinks in the thread. Straighten them out by storing them by laying them flat, or have them hanging. They will take their shape. 

>> Keep earrings stored away from direct sunlight. 

>> Do not shower or swim with your earrings on. 

>>Avoid hair products being sprayed on earrings.
